Hi, Pam.
Robert Bradley Lawson, brother to your David, is my gr grandfather which makes us 3rd cousins. Robert was born March 2, 1853 in Cumberland, IL.
By 1880, he had moved to Osage, Benton, AR where he lived with his and David's sister, Martha. She had married David Fanchon.
On May 23, 1882, he married Mary Isophine Lewis in Bentonville, AR. She was from a very distinguished line whose family has been traced to 17th century colonial America and was a direct descendant of King Henry II of England. She is also descended from the same Ball family as George Washington's mother, Mary Ball. Her grandfather was a personal friend of Daniel Boone and was with Boone at the establishment of Boonesboro, KY. They went with Boone to MO after KY. One of her father's cousins married Boone's son, Morgan.
Robert and Mary had two children: Robert Bradley Jr and Georgia Carl. In 1901, they moved to Sun Prairie, MT where Robert and Mary had a large cattle ranch.Robert died Oct 1, 1924 from chronic nephritis. Mary died Jan 14, 1929. His daughter, Georgia, is my great grandmother. She married Larkin L. Wilson and had my grandmother, Mary Louise Wilson m. John J. Nichols, who had my father, Robert.
