Hello Cousin - how very grand it is to meet you - been looking for a Lawson cousin for yrs - I had been told that 2 of Davids bros went out west to ID, MT or WY somewhere & worked on a ranch!!! I had also heard that one of David's daus went to AK to visit or live with an Uncle & she died down there (young). Never could track either story down. Now it seems there are threads of true to the stories.

What boggles my mind most of all is that I have never been able to find any of Davids sibs & David never left the Cimberland Co, IL area & here you are(whose ancestor left the nest) know where at least one other sib was - do you know what happened to any of the other sibs? Seems like one of those boys d young back there in IL.

I had 2 computers (with everything I knew) crash & burn a few yrs back - now all I have is what I had on paper & I have numerous boxes of files to dig thru to find info there so I'd have to do some digging to find what I can't remember (which is less & less every yr). The more I think on it it seems I do have some info on someone in Bentonville, AK - Lord, I'm just going to have to dig out those files.

I am impressed with your heritage - about the only claim to fame that I can think of in my linage is a shirt tail connect to Patsy Cline - the rest were manly dirt farmers who worked the land - there might have been some outlaws in there too (as ornery as some of the kin are).

I'd love to hear about any of the children of Delilah & James that you might know & if anyone ever figured out who Delilah's parents were.
