I am seeking information on John Abner PASS (b: Nov. 16, 1816, TN d: Oct. 30, 1880, Boone County, AR) and Mary Jane YEAGER PASS (b: Dec. 9, 1820, TN-probaby White County d: June 4, 1900, Boone County, AR). Both are buried in Heaton Cem., Boone Co., AR. They were married before 1838, in TN. Mary Jane YEAGER PASS was the daughter of James E. and Sarah MORRIS YEAGER of White County, TN and later Washington County, AR.
John Abner and Mary Jane's children were: William E.G. PASS (b: abt 1838, TN), Richard N. PASS (b: abt 1840, TN), Harrell B. PASS (b: abt 1845, AR), Thomas H.F. PASS (b: abt 1847, AR), John S.M. John S.M. PASS m. Lucinda ?(b: abt 1858, AR) and had a son, Isaac PASS (b: abt 1879, AR). General P.(G.P.) PASS m. Adour T. (Ada?) ? John Abner and Mary Jane left TN and settled in Carroll County, AR (their area was to become a part of Boone County, AR after the creation of Boone County in 1869) sometime between 1840 and 1847. I believe they were some of the first, if not THE first of their families to come to Arkansas.
I am seeking information on this family and YEAGER/PASS researchers as other YEAGERS and PASSES also married.
