Passmore origins

I have traced back my Passmore ancestors to Myghell Passmore B.1546 at North Molton, Devon. Through trying to find his origin, I checked out a district in Harlow Essex named "Passmores". It is named after a house that was used as a museum until 1973.It was previously owned by the "Passemers family" from 1199 to 1475 and was first mentioned as a Manor House in the Domesday Book 1086, then as a Georgian House in 1727.
Can anyone suggest how I can find out more about the "Passemers Family" (AKA Passmore) of Essex from 1199 to 1475?
