William Frazer Passmore listed in the 1850 Cherokee County, NC Census (Now Clay County NC) , dwelling 501, as 80 yrs old ; farmer valued at $200.00; and born in NC. ; living with Mary Ann Passmore, age 20; It is believed Mary Ann is his grand-daughter.

Reportedly, William came from PA. There is an Enoch Passmore listed in the Kennet Township of PA in the 1790 census. William Frazer named his first male Enoch.


Franklin Co., NC deed #394 dated 30 Aug 1781. Franklin Co., NC deed #394 30 Aug 1781 Williamson Ross of Nash Co., to William Passmore 70 acres Macon County NC Deed Book "A" #245 lists..

He may have been buried in the Sweenwater Methodest Cemetery, Hayesville, Clay County, NC.
