He was born April 4th, 1846 in Newton, Devonshire England. He left England 1865. He aventually married Janet Donaldson (Scottish) in the USA, and had several children, including James, Mary, and Janet. I am searching for the names of his parents, and also more information on 'Newton.' Does anybody know what this place is called today? Possibly Newton Abbot? Thanks!
