Do any of you have information on the family listed in the 1870 Town of Pilot, Kankakee County Census:
Patnode, Israel 42 Farmer
, Aurilla 38 Keeping house
, Sophia 18
, Edmina 14
, Israel 12
Billings, Edward 8
Billings, Joseph 6
The 1880 census has Aurilla Billings living with Joseph 16 and Adam 11 mos. in Aurora, Kane County, Illinois and Edward 18 working as a farm laborer for a John Morrison in Kendall County. Aurelie (Aurilla, Orilla, Orrel. Orril)Prevost Billings was my great-great-grandmother. Her first husband was John Billings. They were from Quebec, Canada. She may have been half native American. If you have any information on this family or on who Adam was, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
