Just did a quick search on my surname and ended up in this forum. Was curious to see what was out there and the names origins. My father was from Trinidad and came to Canada via Jamaica where our families now reside across the country. Most of my relatives and cousins still reside in Trinidad & Tobago. I had heard of Scottish and French roots and a number of Patience's in the U.S., Utah specifically.
