WILLIAM PATMAN AND SUSANNAH BIGGERS

In 1750 Julius Allen and William Patman both had land on the branches of the Little Guinea in Cumberland County, Va. [The informatin did not say they LIVED there.]
In my notes on Julius Allen, I have this information: Julius Allen, Jr. born BY 1751, died ca. 1803.Wife Ann aka Nancy. (Watson?)1799 Julius Allen [Jr.] of Henrico County, Va. gave personal property to daughter Polly Hobson wife of Mathew Hobson. Nov. 5, 1808, Christian Allen attested to Anne’s age when she married Abner Crump. [why would that have been necessary?]Anne’s daughter Polly and Polly's husband Mathew Hobson bought from Anne the 87 ½acres drawn by Anne in the division of her father’s estate. In the Superior court of Hanover countyin 1809, Matthew Hobson, assignee of Ann Allen, who was assignee of William Watson, exor of John Watson, dec’d VS Joseph Watson, - in debt.
In 1809 Matthew Hobson and wife Polly sold the 87 ½ acres to Christian and Littleberry Allen, drawn by Anne Allen in the division of her father’s estate.Matthew Hobson purchased it from Anne who married Abner Crump.Matthew Hobson, Jr died in 1812, and Mrs. Polly Hobson married Dandridge Carter in 1813, giving her own consent.Christian Allen was surety. ****
1768 Julius Allen of Henrico County married Mary Biggar of Hanover County Oct 11, 1768. [My theory is that she was a Watson widow]
1777 Will of Julius Allen Sr. “wife got slaves, bacon at plantation at Allen’s creek provided she pay Joseph, Samuel and Martha WATSON certain items of livestock. Also "Cuff" for life, then to son John. Also her former dower land at Allen’s Creek.”
Hope this helps, but would love to brainstorm with someone who cares about all this.Jean
