My cousins said thier were NeMoyers that came down from Bavaria Germany, to Alscace Lorraine, France, to Canda to US
and fought in this war. Now I do not know for sure, My Maiden name in Nemoyer. I was told what ever reason we fought in this war. How do I find data that says this is so?
Alscace, Lorraine has been through 4 nationalities, and when my family came over they were part of Germany.I feel I am part of a jigsaw puzzle, that pieces have been hidden, and no one wants to tell me where they put the pieces.
I appreciate your help, since most of you all seem to know what your doing.
