I am looking for information regarding the Patriotes from the Battle of the Windmill. Specifically, I'd like to know if there is information somewhere listing their arrests, trials, etc. I found Gregoire and Rene on a list of imprisoned Patriotes, and both of them were arrested on 17 Nov 1838, the day after the Battle of the Windmill ended, so I have been working under the assumption they participated in that battle, but I'd like to find some corroborating information. What I found about them was on Michel Foubert's "1837 Nos Heros" site: Rouille, Gregoire, Farmer from La Prairie, incarcerated 17 Nov 1838 Rouille, Rene, Farmer from La Prairie, incarcerated 17 Nov 1838. Does anyone know where I might find information about those that were arrested and brought to Fort Henry in Kingston? Thanks! Notify Administrator about this message?
