I can share the memories you have of Curran, MI. My grandfather was Charles Ralph Pattee, Sr., brother to John Atherton Pattee. In the late 1940s I visited Curran with my father Charles Ralph Pattee, Jr. and we stayed at his cousin Grace's house also. What a wonderful place and the greatest group of people I have ever met. We visited many of the same people you did. We still keep in touch with Florence Cordes, Grace's daughter.
