I'm reseaching early 20th c. deans of women. I've found some information about Loueen Pattee, who was the Dean of Women at the University of Cincinnati from 1916 to 1921, when she died. Also, I know that she was a graduate of Iowa College (now Grinnell College).
Can anyone tell me about her? Do you know anything about her death, birth/death dates, or year of graduation from Iowa College? Also, I see from websites that there was a William Pattee and wife Sarah Phillips Pattee who were instrumental in the development of the Iowa State Normal School at Cedar Falls, and they had a daughter who might be around the correct age. Can anyone confirm for me, and refer to some sources, that Loueen was (or wasn't) their daughter?
I appreciate anything you can provide, and would be happy to share what little I have, to anyone interested.
