"Patty Brook"

I have a pretty nice painting I inherited from my maternal grandmother Grace Pattee Minter (born in Somerville, Massachusetts in 1878) that she told me is the "Patty Brook" outside Fort Fairfield, Maine. Nobody in Fort Fairfield will answer my emails.

Does anyone know anything about this? Apparently the land in Aroostook County dates at least to the Webster-Ashburton Treaty, as Charles Pattee was the owner in the land settlement of 1838, and I have some journals of his son Stephen written before and during the Civil War.

My grandmother had also done minor research and uncovered one Dummer Pattee, who came to Massachusetts in 1665. I suspect he was a Huguenot whose French name would have been Doumer, and he preceded or was an ancestor of Asa.
