My mom and I have continued studying the Pattee family since the publication of our original article in 1992-3, mostly focusing on the descendants of Capt. Asa 4 Pattee. Hiram is one. I have a sketch of him, with footnotes. Please note that research is not completed. Will be glad to share my raw notes as well. Will send as an email attachment.

I had taken Sadie's surname as French, but see that it might be Trench. The surname on census records of her birth family in Norridgewock is ambiguous. The Massachusetts marriage record of Mattie French and Emory Turner, which is handwritten, is absolutely clear. If anyone can supply evidence of the surname, I'd appreciate it.
