While not a direct descendant of this line, I'm interested in descendants of the family. It was quite interesting to see JANE PATTEN, mother-in-law listed in the house and occupation, was "OLD LADY", I can't help but think the Irish women's sense of humor might of sparked the census taker to write such a thing down....Anyways, hope it helps someone, or if you're a descendant would love to correspond.

1. FREDERICK W.3 FRANKLIN (M. GEORGE2, ANTHONY1) was born January 1838 in PA, and died Aft. 1900. He married ANN J. PATTEN. She was born Abt. 1842 in IRELAND.

Notes for FREDERICK W. FRANKLIN:

1860 Wyalusing laborer on the John Wells farm.

1870 Wilmot Census, Bradford Co. Household 60, age 32 years

1880 Census Place Dallas, Luzerne, Pennsylvania

1900 Census, Dallas, Luzerne Co. PA mother-in-law Jane Patten b. Aug 1811, Ireland living with them 11 children, 4 living.

Fred & Ann listed as having 4 children/4 living. Son William is a conductor RR, quite amusing Jane Patten is listed as "old lady". Family arrived from Ireland in 1844.

Notes for ANN J. PATTEN:
