Thank you for your reply to my message. It is always very interesting to find out about more Pattens. The Elbridge I wrote about is Elbridge G. Patten born Sept. 8, 1814 in Pittsfield, Maine. I have come to find out that he was a son of a Joseph and Betsey Patten. Joseph was born in Skowhegan, Maine on Oct. 18, 1777 and Betsey in 1778. Do not know Betsey's maiden name. They had 12 children, some being born in Skowhegan and the rest in Pittsfield. So I think your Elbridge is not the same, but who knows maybe they would be connected some way. Also this Elbridge G. had a son, also named Elbridge G. I haven't been able to get any further back than Joseph. Do you know any further back than your Elbridge C.'s parents? Or about other relatives (brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles)?

Again, thanks. It was nice hearing from you.
