Hello Bruce,

Yesterday I read a few pages re:John Patten of Marblehead and his family. The info may have been in the Henry Parker Moore book, or the Walter Goodwin DAvis book. All I can remember is that his family was not economically stable. I can make a trip to the library if you would like the information on him. (You may already have the volumes I refer to.)There was also another John Patten, b.1717 in Ireland, who was killed in the wreck of the sloop, Judith, in Marblehead. He was the son of Matthew and Margaret Patten of Maine.

Let me know if you'd like additional information.

Kathy
