Silas PATTEN, Shelby County IN, 1870 census

The 1870 Shelby County, Indiana census shows Silas Patten, wife Narcissa, and children Cranson, Frederick, Horace, Clarence, Silas G., Evalyn, and Mattie living in Hanover Township. Silas was born in Ohio, Narcissa in Maryland, and the family moved to Indiana from Ohio about 1855 judging from the children's birth places. Does anyone have information about this family?

I have Patten ancestors that moved from Ohio to Hanover Township around the same time period (with a detour to Wisconsin in the late 1850s/early 1860s) but I have no record of Silas. It seems like too much of a coincidence to be totally random.
