Matthew Patten is listed on Dublin Township Return of Property, Bedford county PA for 1779. Pennsylvania Archives, 3rd series, volume 22, p. 189.
Is this the same Matthew Patten found with several grants of land in Jefferson Cty, KY in 1783?
Three families affiliated with my Moses Kirkpatrick are found on this Dublin property return. Moses' wife's mother is supposed to have been a Rebecca Patten. A number of families traveled together to Jefferson Cty KY in this time frame. Were Pattens part of this migration?
