I am looking for information on the Patzer family in Ohio. My paternal great-grandmother was Laura Melissa Braskett b. 7/20/1885 d. 4/26/1955, daughter of John Franklin Brasket b.1833 d. 1888 and Caelia Ann Braskett b/ 1841 d.1888. Laura was married to Edward Emil Patzer, b.1879 d. 11/1960. Laura and Edward had a daughter, Selma Margaret Patzer, b. 10/23/1914 d. 10/30/1981. Selma is my paternal grandmother. I believe she had siblings but I have no more information on them. I was told that Selma was a secretary to a general during the Korean war, if that rings a bell. The only other information I have on them is that they were from the central Ohio area. I was told that there are several Patzers still living in the Columbus/Grove City area but I don't have any more names. Do any of these names appear in your family tree? If so, any information you could share would be greatly appreciated!
