Thank You very much!
I received simelar information from a person in Germany.
From a confirmation list a have a David Janke (I think it is the same as Jahnke) from Sokolow, which must be born in 1792, his wife Anna Christine Frank is also on this list a place near Lodz - also born 1792. Peter Patzer and his wife Euphrosine Fenske - near Gostynin is also on this list both Confirmation in 1811.
Any Idea where I can find the birth place of this persons or their parents?
Did they emigrate from Pommern (as far as Janke and Fenske is concerned), because many from Pommern settled in the years 1795-1806 south of the wisla river.
Any information would be good.
Thanks again,
Best regards
Frank Janke
