Sorry to be so long in replying, but I never received a notification of your reply. I decided to look at Paulets again and found your message.

My NY Polleys were: 1. 3G grandparents Hiram and Salome Polley - I've not been able to find this couple in any records other than being named in my 2G grandfather Silas Polley's marriage certificate 2. 2G grandparents Silas H. Polley b. Cortland Co. 1837 and Louisa Pope b. abt. 1841 NY county unknown and Silas' siblings Henry S. Polley of Skaneateles and Rosina Polley Travis or Travers of Skaneateles, Onondaga Co. - there are probably more siblings, but these are the only ones I could find.

Silas and Louisa were married in Beloit, WI and lived in Freeport IL from at least 1865 until 1890. My great-grandparents on down lived in the Chicago area.
