I am looking for the parents of Horace Poland, born 1825 in New York. I think he must belong to Antoine Paulin's family but can't seem to find his parents. I just started working on this branch of the family last week and today there is an obit in the Burlington Freee Press for a Horace Poland. When searching back from this Horace I find he came from Horace of New York. I was in Champlain NY last week and saw Antoine and Pierre Paulain (Poland) grave stones. So far the only confirmation that they are father and son is from a large article written on Captain Antoine Paulin. In "French Canadian and Acadian Genealogical Review" Volume VI No 1, Spring 1978 it has 35 pages on Paulin and some of his descendants.
If you would have anything on Horace (wife Phebe) I would like to hear from you.
Thank you, Alan
