I could not find Joseph's grave, but after several years of trying to find the burial place of Antoine Paulin, I
finally found it. It is on a small rise, almost completely encircled by trees
at the end of a two-rut farm road.

Regardless of what any GPS, or computer mapping route planner tells you... the signs at the ends of the road state that it is off the Rapid Rd in Champlain,
Clinton County, NY. It is apparently on private property, but the owners were "asleep upstairs" and two little pre-school children answered the door. They were too young to be asked anything about a graveyard, even if I was in the
habit of asking little children questions. I didn't see a house (mail box) number at this location, but just down the road ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE 3/10 of a mile was "235 Rapid Rd". The rutted farm road is nearer the owner's house.

If all else fails and they change the name of the roads, or the road signs vanish, the location of the Cemetery is 44 degrees, 57' 11" N by 73 degrees 25' 37" W.

I have some fairly good photos of the cemetery.
