Amable, by the way was a Revolutionary soldier himself anyway. he started out I believe as a Drummer Boy in the 2nd Canadian Regiment and ended up under Major Gosselin of whom there is a LOT writen. I saw him (Amable) mentioned in more than a couple of books and articles.
