Hi Tom...

Paulin is my maiden name, and I do know something about the Paulin's in Pennsylvania and Ohio. I don't think I have specific information on your Peter, but I am descended from the first Henry Paullin who was in PA in the 1600's. The family later went to New Jersey and from there to Ohio. (they dropped the second L in the late 1800's)

Can you tell me what county Sycamore is in? Most of my branch settled in Hamilton and Butler County, Ohio, but I located another distant cousin whose Paulin's settled around Mahonning County. Anyway, I might be able to get you on the right track in locating your ancestor. Write me at SmokyRN@msn.com.
