I posted my first message too fast!

The records for Marne and Heiligenhafen also have been filmed. For Marne, they extend back to 1661 or 1663. There are two sets; you'll have to figure out which is the right one for you. The Heiligenhafen records are for 1792-1826.

There also are census records for both places, for 1835, 1840, and 1845. For Heiligenhafen, there also is a census for 1855.

Sad to report that lefts are separate from rights again. By the time you get to the third roll, you'll be an expert at working around that. ;)

Tom
