Paulsen Family from Schleswig Holstein Germany
Posted by: Carl Paulsen (ID *****9045) Date: January 16, 2009 at 17:57:25

I am looking for descendants of Christian Paulsen and Esther Multsen who apparently lived in Schleswig Holstein Germany in the early 1800's. They had four children: Frederick Carl, William, Sophia and Charlotte.

Frederick Carl Paulsen married Mary Josephine Senn in 1877. They had 11 children:

Gustave Frederick
Carl Frederick
Cecelia Ethel
Frederick Augustave

Frederick Carl Paulsen was a talented musician trained in Germany and played for the Brunswick Silver Cronet Band in the US. He is said to be the first person to play an instrument on top of Pikes Peak and this is recorded in the files of Colorado Springs Public Library. They lived in Brunswick Missouri. Frederick Carl would be my Great Grandfather as his son Carl Frederick (noted above as 1 of 11) is my grandfather.
