I was curious about your Johann Paulsen. Do you know anything about his parents and/or siblings? My great grandmother had an older brother named Johann and I was wondering if my Johann and yours were the same person? My g-grandmother is Dora Paulsen and is one of 9 siblings. The others are Johann, Gustav, Julius, Anna, Wiedjen, Teresea, Henry George and Herman. Their parents are John and Mariah(Scheppmann) Paulsen. The family is from Schleswig-Holstein and at least 3 of the 9 siblings settled in Nebraska and a 4th settled in New York. I have been trying to find out if the others ever came to the US. You can contact me at jlpleins@aol.com, Thanks, Jodi Pleins
