If your grandfather's name was Stephen or Peter, we might be related. My grandfather, John, was born in 1881 in Sambron, Slovakia (then the Austro-Hungarian Empire). He came to Bridgeport at the end of the 1800's when just a teenager. He had at least 2 older brothers, Peter and I believe Stephen who might have come to the US then also. He also had at least two sisters, Catharina and Anna, But his mother, Katharina Szedlak Paulik (as it was spelled over there)died and his father, John Kopcsak Paulik, remarried a Maria Dulyo and had other children that I haven't been able to find in the church records yet, so he probably did have other step-brothers and sisters.
