I read your message and I think we can help each other and try to figure it out. My father, Antonio, along with some of my uncles and aunts live in California. My father was born in 1926. I know that my grandfather Manuel Payan was born in 1888 in the territory of Mexico which is now Arizona. He served in WWI in the Army, but I can't remember the Regiment or Battalion. He married my grandmother Francisca Jurado who was born I believe in 1902, in Chihuahua, Mexico. Later relocated to California in Los Angeles, Boyle Heights area. Moved to Ventura County after 1926 because the rest of my uncles and aunts were born in Ventura County. They must have married around 1918-1922 because my uncle Lorenzo was born in 1924. There was 2 children prior to him but did not survive.

My Uncles that are living Lorenzo, Manuel, Guadalupe, and Pedro. My aunts that are living are Eloise, Elvira, Virginia, Bertha, and Juliana.

I hope that this able to help you. Let me know if you find out anything more.
Jose A. Payan
