Payans of Mexico

I have a son-in-law, whose biological father is a Payan(Daniel Payan, to be exact). I have decided to try and look into his ancestry, but all I know at this point is that this particular family resided for a time in Chihuahua, Mexico. Still working on locating more specifics. If there are any Payans out there with Mexican roots, please contact me as I will likely need plenty of help with this line. I don't have much experience working with Hispanic/Mexican lineages.
