Thanks for replying to my posting! Since that original posting, I have managed to add a little to my son-in-law's family tree and I thought I would share this in the hopes that something might look familiar to you:

Starting with my son in law:
Jimmy Payan(adopted name now Lopez) was the son of:

Daniel Payan, b. 1956 Chihuahua, Mexico. He married Paula Ramirez. Daniel was the son of:

Manuel Payan, who d. in Chihuahua not long ago(no date available). He married Elvira Hernandez(who is still, we think, alive somewhere in Chihuahua). Unfortunately, I don't have a father for this Manuel Payan yet.

If you happen to come across any information these particular Payans, I would greatly appreciate it if you would drop me a line or post it to genforum. Thanks again!
