Melinda,
I was interested in your message regarding PAYSON's in Elgin County, Ontario.
I have an G. Edward Payson who was in Elgin County in the mid-19th century. He was my gr gr grandfather. We believe he married a McCulley(not too sure of the spelling).
Their are Payson's in the St. Thomas Cemetery.
What area of Elgin County do you believe you have a connection? Please correspond with me and perhaps we can share information. We have very few records available.
I look forward to your reply.
Steven.
