Helen Payson Sumner, ca 1866, Boston

I have recently discovered an album of mostly unlabled family photos belonging to my ggreat grandmother, Rebecca Sumner Williams Parmenter (1796-1887). In it are a few labeled photos of members of the Parmenter, Sumner, Williams and Pearce families (some of whom married Temples and Paysons), including:

- one photo inscribed "Helen Payson Sumner, Sept 1866," taken by Black & Case, Photographic Artists, Boston. (The woman appears to be in her 30s.)

If you recognize her name, I would like very much to know who she is. I do know that the album's owner's mother was Rebecca Payson, m. Edward Sumner ca. 1783/85, d. 1804. She had 12 children, including my ggreat grandmother, Rebecca Sumner Parmenter Williams (1796-1887). Perhaps Helen was a niece or grand-niece of hers.

If this photo is of interest to you, that I would be willing to supply copies of the photos.
