Yo George,

Spend a little time investigating the "Payson" line did ya? OK, OK, I have one for you. My g-father was Charles Sumner Young Jr. (1913-1996), his father was (go figure) Charles Sumner Young Sr.(1854-1916). Sr. Young married (2nd wife) Blanch Little. Her father was Frank Perkins Little. His father was William Perkins. I recently sorted through my g-father's things (San Diego, CA.) and came across a photo of Old Will Perkins. He is a very old man, sitting in a chair, beside him stands a young boy (6-8 yrs.) with a rather devilish grin and long ringlets. On the back of the photo, hand written in ink... William Perkins w/ Ed Payson. I'm certain it was taken in the Boston area. There is one remaining member,"Betty", she is the 1/2 sister of Charlie Jr. She tells some wonderful stories about life in Mass., but she's getting on in years (80+). If you think it my be someone you're looking for, I can search for more. Good luck!
