Charity (Payson) Wilder, of Jefferson Co., WI, dau. of James Payson

I have a carte-de-visite photo of Charity (Payson) Wilder and a man who looks to be her husband, "Joe Wilder", which I would like to get back in the hands of family members.

Photo of "Joe & Charity" Wilder was taken in Ft. Atkinson (Jefferson Co.) WI. I found Charity Wilder in the 1880 census for Koskonong (Jefferson Co.) WI, age 49, born NY, with husband Edward, and living with them was Edward's father in law: "James Payson", age 77, so Charity was his daughter. "Joe" and "Charity" look to be around their 40s.

There are three other Wilder photos, also, besides this one. If these are in your family, email me at
