Richard, This book is basically a straight line descendent narrative from Edward PAYSON, bpt. 1613-1691 through Edward PAYSON, 1783-1827 with very little mention of any siblings along the way. The descendent chart is straignt line and doesn’t mention siblings. The only thing I found on Ephraim is: Payson, Margaret, Colonial Ancestors of the Payson Family- Portland Maine 1613-1827, An Historical Narrative and Genealogical Record. Self published, after 1977. p. 19: Three of the sons, John, Ephraim and Samuel, stayed with the land and became prosperous citizens concerned with the development of both Roxbury and Dorchester.
