Dear June, My Mother was a Payson, and her Father, Edward Butler Payson. Your information about Wisconsin peaked Interest, Our family comes from Wisconsin. My two sisters and I are trying to run our tree back into England, we have information back to RI.
We would like to hear from you if you have anything that would help us. Our information goes back to Samuel in RI and the 1810 census, We are of his decendents.
We are trying to find out more about lineage back as far as possible and any Historical events, and or, any ties to royalty that had been spoke of through the years. We have had information sent to us concering Some possible ties to Nazeing England but we don't have enough information to tie us to that area yet.
We have just started researching recently. There seems to be a vast number of Edwards all through the family lines.
Hope to hear from you soon, Carol
