Mary Peabody Death dau. of Francis Peabody

I'm researching the parents of Jonathan Eames born 1716. Almost everywhere I look I find his parents listed as Samuel Eames and Mary Peabody Death, widow of John Death and daughter of Francis Peabody.
Samuel Eames was born in 1664, Mary Peabody was born about 1656, about 8 years before Samuel. That's okay.
But in Francis Peabody's will he calls his daughter Mary Death. According to what I've found Samuel and Mary were married in 1689. Francis wrote his will on 20 Jan. 1695/6. If Mary was widowed and remarried to Samuel Eames in 1689 wouldn't her father be calling her Mary Eames in his will of 1695/6 instead of Mary Death?
Also, since Jonathan was born in 1716 that would make Mary about 60 years old when he was born. Highly doubtful.
Can anyone help me clear up who Samuel Eames was truly married to and who Jonathan's mother was?
