In the NEHGR Lt. Francis Peabody was born in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, Eng. In 1614 and immigrated on the shp Planter in 1635. Married Mary Foster. (other sources name a second wife Lydia Perkins). Children listed in NEHGR include:
John. b. 1642
Joseph b. 1644
William b. 1646
Isaac b. 1648
Sarah b. 1650
Hepsibah b. 1652
Lydia b 1654 m. Jacob Perley (On the following page her niece, the dau of John also marries Jacob Perley...????? a bit odd and maybe suspect. Thomas Perley is named in other sources)
Mary b. 1656
Ruth b. May 22 1658
Damaris Jan 21, 1660
Samuel b. Jan 4, 1662
Jacob b. Jul 28, 1664
Hannah b May, 28 1668
Nathaniel b Jul 29, 1669

U. S. and International Marriage records on Ancestry.com say that Lydia Peabody born 1640 married Thomas Howlett. That is verified by several other sources including The Great Migration Begins. The Thomas Perley marriage needs to be further researched and verified.
