Hi Geoff,

I'm in posession of an old bible, with "Salome Veal" inscribed inside the cover, from a church in Castcombe. I believe she might have been born around 1848, and later married George Peacey. They also had a daugher, Ethel, who died on 2 July, 1895, and was burried on 6 July 1895 in the Evesham Cemetary. At the time of her death, their address was 18 West street.

It would also seem that another daughter, Blanche, married William Crystal, either in England or in South Africa, not too sure... William Crystal , by my calculation, would be my ggggrandfather.

I just want to know if it ties up with the info that you've got. If it does, I'd love to get some more info...
