I have been in touch with one Peacey family who live in and around Windsor, Ontario area. The grandson, Adam Peacey, was on the Canadian Olympic swim team that went to the Sydney Games in 2000. The grandfather wrote me a very nice letter but there was no connection with my line. His parents were Norman Cressell Peacey born in Toronto Aug.10,1884 and and Mary Adam Hughes born Philadelphia,PA July 16,1884. This fellow's name was Howard R. Peacey and his son is Norman Arthur Peacey. Do any of these names sound familiar to you? I have traced my line down to the early 1960's (by searching City Directories in Toronto)to a George Peacey who was an accountant for the Liquor Control Board. After he disappeared from the Directory, I don't know what happened. Perhaps this line has met it's demise. As I may have mentioned, I have found the US Peacey line's descendants and will be meeting with one of my newfound cousins in a little over a week.My little joke is that I've found some of the missing Peaceys to my puzzle.
