Deceased Name: Edmond J. Peacher
TUCSON, Ariz. - Edmond Jerome Peacher, 78, of Tucson, formerly of Springfield, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at his home.

He was born Dec. 24, 1927, in Havana, the son of Ralph and Inez Pulver Peacher. Two sons, Jeffrey Lee and John David, preceded him in death.

Mr. Peacher graduated from Lanphier High School in 1947. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving for more than 20 years, and a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Tucson for 20 years. He was a member of Elks Lodge 385.

Survivors: two daughters, Joanne "Joey" Peacher-Wilson (husband, Robert Wilson) and Jeri McCorry, three grandchildren and a niece.

Memorial services: 3 p.m. Friday, Double Tree Inn, Tucson.
