Hi Brian,
thanks for your reply. I think that this may be my g.grandmother, the information that I have is that Annie came from Hoyland Swaine, that her father was an engine driver and that her siblings were Sarah Anne (eldest) Allan or Ellen, Alice, Fred and another male child who died as an adult of TB. My Annie married John William Escritt in Hunslet Leeds they had 3 children the eldest (my grandfather) was John William Escritt b. 1902, Dinah and Dorothy b.1915. Dorothy is still alive and has given me the names of her aunts and uncles. Both Annies parents had died by the time she was 11 years old.
I will let you know of anything else I discover.
