thanks for the information mike.i was having a heck of a time figuring out who harvey's father was,i knew parthenia was married to james ford but i didn't know he was the father of harvey.this clears up alot for me.if you have any info on where the peal family originated from i would like to hear.ive traced us back to joseph andrew peal born about 1795 in bedford county virginiajhe had 9 children with martha peal.parthenia was born in 1847 the youngest of the children.just alittle info you might be interested to know two of her brothers served in the 26th batalliion of the virginia infantry in the civil war fighting for the confederacy.george was killed in action on august 26th 1863 at hte battle of white sulfur springs in what is now lewisburg west virginia his brother william reeves peal also served in this regiment.my father and me were both named after harvey,his name is william jennings and im robert jennings.any questions fell free to e mail me at peal@sbcglobal.net
