From the booklet "Driving Tours of Maryland, 1975" is the following:

"First Unitarian Church - built in 1819, this is the nation's first Unitarian Church....Rembrandt Peale was an original member."

"Peale Museum - Erected by the renowed artist, Rembrandt Peale, as his 'Baltimore Museum and Gallery of Fine Arts" in 1814. this is the oldest museum building in the United States and the third oldest in the world. Here, the use of gas for lighting was first demonstrated." (Open to the public.)

Possibly, someone at these two locations would have more information about the artist.
