Would like further information on these families and to contact descendants of them.
Alexander Perrill married 29 May 1791 Grace Beaumont at the German Reformed Church in Frederick, Frederick Co., MD. Both dead by 1821 leaving children in Knox Co., OH. Alexander may be the son of Samuel Pearl and Grace the daughter of William Beaumont.
Does anyone have more information on the parents?
Alexander's family apparently consisted of at least the following:
i Charlotte Perrill, born about 1792 MD (from 1850 census)
ii Charity Perrill, perhaps born between 1794 and 1798 or about 1801
iii William Pearl is listed as age 50 born VA in the 1850 census but 62, born MD in 1860.
iv Elizabeth Perrill, born about 1803 VA (1850 census)
v John Perrill, born about 1805 (age 14 in 1821)
vi James Perrill/Pearl born 17 April 1807 OH (his bible record)
Were there other children and where and when did Alexander and Grace die?
Charlotte Perrill married John Sawyer, a blacksmith, perhaps from Vermont. They were in Mt. Vernon, Knox Co., OH from before 1820 to 1834 when they moved to Wayne Twp., Noble Co., IN. There children apparently were:
i Eliza Sawyer, born about 1810, married before 1831 a cousin Stephen Sawyer, living Noble Co., IN 1850
ii Lucinda Sawyer, born 12 Jan 1814 died 3 Jan 1854 Knox Co., OH, married in Knox Co., OH Nov 10, 1837 (sic) William O. Johnson, , son of Nathaniel Johnson and Isabella Adams and had Elizabeth 1835 (sic), William H. 1839, Susannah 1843, and Parker 1845

iv? Melinda Sawyer, married an Armstrong

Charity Perrill married George Shival and was in Huron Co., OH in 1832. Is there another spelling for the surname Shival. Am unable to locate them in census schedules.
William Pearl was married by Thomas Rigdon, Minister of the Gospel 9 April 1928 in Knox Co., Ohio. to Nancy Doty. Nancy was the daughter of Peter Doty and Susannah Magdelen Boyle. William and Nancy had 10 children in Morrow Co., Ohio. Their children married Anna E. Rizor, Phoebe Dupee, Lovinia Dupee, Abigail Breese, Jennie Coates, Lydia Ann McBreece Breese, John Averell, Isaac G. Sherman, Philo Prumer, Thomas A. Doty, Mary Ellen Slack, and Julia Partlow.

Elizabeth Perrill was married by Thomas Rigdon, Minister of the Gospel on 31 May 1821 to Thomas W. Clark in Knox Co., Ohio. Thomas apparently died 1850 in Knox Co. They had at least:

iv Elizar E. Clark (female) born about 1832
v Hiram Clark, born about 1837

Were there other children and when did Thomas and Elizabeth die?
John Perrill/Pearl died, apparently in Knox Co., OH between 1828 and 1932, apparently unmarried and the court records regarding his estate named the siblings.
James Pearl married 25 Dec 1827 apparently in Knox Co., OH Elizabeth Berry, daughter of Joseph Berry and Hannah McFarland, and had 8 children, 3 or 4 before moving to Missouri. There, his wife died and he married second 6 July 1846 or 1847 Elizabeth Wiseman, daughter of John Wiseman and Hannah Venner. They had 12 children. The family moved to Oregon in 1852 and settled in near Brownsville in Linn Co., Oregon in 1853. Additional details on descendants are available at:
