Layfayette Pearl
Posted by: Angela Kraft (ID *****1093) Date: January 19, 2009 at 09:21:06

I am looking for information on a black man named Layfayette Pearl. He was born June 30, 1944 in Kentucky, went into the Marine Corps and died in May of 1971. He is thought to have attended Shawnee High School in Louisville, though their Alumni group has not yet found him there. He is not listed on the Vietnam Wall as a war casualty. My father-in law went to school and boot camp with him and wants to know what became of this man. Any help would be most appreciated.
